CNY Party

On the 2nd day of CNY, we have get together all the family members from both mummy & daddy's side. Most of our aunties, uncles & cousins have make their presence to this CNY party.

For this round, mummy have prepared some chinese dishes for this occasion like fried noodles, nasi lemak, curry chicken, sambal prawn, lobak, tofu prawn, yam cake, fruits, jelly & etc. The food looks good & yummy, right !

CNY Eve

After having reunion dinner with daddy's family members at home on new year eve, we went over to Ah Ma & Gong Gong's house to have another round of reunion with mummy's family members.

舅舅& his family also came back to KL for CNY celebration.



All the children were so happy to get together and before we left Ah Ma & Gong G0ng's house, the adults were giving out ang pau 压岁钱 to the young ones.

On the first day of CNY, most of us were dressed up in red early in the morning and prepared to go visiting.

Chinese New Year Reunion

Happy Niu Year everyone !!

It has been a month since mummy last updated the blog in Dec '08 about the X'mas Party celebration. Mummy was extremely busy cleaning & decorating the house and also making cookie & preparing the food for the Chinese New Year.

Last Sunday ie CNY eve, all our 伯伯 and 姑姑came back to our place to gather for the CNY celebration.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate 婆婆's 70th birthday. Happy Birthday 婆婆!


See how happy was 婆婆 to receive all her children and grandchildren during this special occasion.

On the same day, we also had "Low Hei" (捞生) before taking the reunion dinner at home.

Since CNY eve til the 3rd day of CNY, mummy was busy cooking the meals. We had many rounds of reunion luncheons and dinners within the family members at home.

Being able to get together within the family members is most precious and 大伯伯said that this culture should be carried on until the subsequent generations.
