A must visit area of our new home - Episode 1

Last two days, daddy just can't wait to expand the garden for mummy as we received many good comments about our garden after we have updated our blog. Daddy managed to build for mummy a shade opposite our home within 2 days so that mummy can have more plants and flowers in our garden.

Here's our new garden :

Mummy is now getting more busy jaga(ing) all the flowers and plants every morning and evening.

Since we have many flowers over here, this garden has now attracted a lot of birds, butterflies and insects every day. While mummy is busy gardening, daddy is enjoying the bird watching.
Now we would like to bring you around to visit our new garden.

Understand that Hupilan(虎尾兰) is a good Feng Shui tree. So it is of course a "must have" tree in our garden.

Melampodium (小黄花) is one of the easy grow flowers and looks very attractive.

This is the "Butterfly "plant. Daddy just bought this special plant this morning from the Happy Garden nursery. Look at the shape of the leaves, aren't they look interesting ?

This is the picture of the "Butterfly" plant.

Another type of flower you may find here is Allamanda. We have both the white color and yellow color species. Was told that this white species is from Thailand.

Gloxinia 大岩桐is not new in our garden. We have many of it at our old balcony.
Purple Gloxinia 大岩桐 is one of mummy's favourite flower.

There's also another two different types of red Gloxinia (大岩桐) in our garden. These are Wei's favourite.

Still remember these Pitcher Plant (猪笼草) at our old house ?
Other green plants we have are Calathea and Alocasia. Some locals called this plant pokok keladi. So, can we eat the keladi ??

Well, we still have many other types of plant and flowers in our garden. We just can't wait to show you all. However, mummy need a little time to take more photos and upload in our blog. We will continue in the episode 2 soon.

Hi all, thanks for your encouragement. Indeed this is the first time both ourselves are into gardening. We never knew that there's so much fun in gardening. Everyday you can see the plants and flowers growing & changing. We really enjoy it very much.
